Opening Ceremony
The Nepal Scouts recently held their 52nd Woodbadge Training at Ganga Maala Maa. Vi, Birendranagar, Surkhet, from Chaitra 21-27, 2079. On the first day, the participants were welcomed, and on the second day, the training was inaugurated. The inauguration was chaired by Province Coordinator Mr. Kamal Bohara, with the national flag hosted by National Leader Trainer Mr. Bijendra Dhoju and the Scouts flag hosted by Course Leader/ National Leader Trainers Mr. Shiva Bahadur Bhandari. The training team was led by Mr. Shiva Bahadur Bhandari as Course Leader , Mr Kamal Bohara as in chaired person.
Training Period
The participants were excited and grateful to learn new skills Mr Bijendra Dhoju take a session adult development, motivation, leadership skills, spiritual development, volunteering , The training brought together 18 participants from four districts – Humla, Jumla, Jajarkot, and Surkhet, to learn various skills, including knotting, first aid, jungle survival, and self-cooking with limited resources. and During the training the participant were also involved in community development by cleaning the school area and repairing the drainage and water pump.
The closing ceremony
The closing ceremony was chaired by Province Advisory Committee member/ Counsellor Mr. Khageswor Gautam, with the Ward Chairperson Mr. Dil Bahadur Rakhal as the chief guest. During his speech, Mr. Rakhal promised to advocate for scouting development with the relevant authority. The School Principal, Mrs. Shanti Baskota, also expressed her appreciation for the Nepal Scouts’ contribution to cleaning and maintenance. Course leader motivate participants for continuation on development of scouting as journey has begun ,Mr. Gautam closed the ceremony with an inspiring speech, encouraging everyone to work towards the development of children and young people through scouting. Overall, the training was a success, and participants and organizers alike praised the Nepal Scouts Karnali Province for their efforts in promoting scouting and community development.

Dated 2079/04/09 Nepal scouts Karnali province Birendranagar municipality organizes the investiture ceremony of the Mayor Mrs. Mohanmaya Dhakal (Bhandari) and deputy-mayor Mr. Nilkhantha Khanal Investiture was given by province coordinator Mr kamal Bohara to both mayor and deputy- mayor. During the program Province Advisory committee member Mr. Khageswor Gautam, scouts Teachers, and journalists were present. Likewise, Mayor committed to supporting the scouting activity in the municipality.

Dated 2079/03/29 Nepal scouts Karnali province Narayan municipality organize the investiture ceremony of the Mayor Mr. Loman Sharma and deputy-mayor Mrs. Taptaa Kumari Khadka(Thapa). Investiture is given by province coordinator Mr kamal Bohara to both mayor and deputy- mayor. During the program national trainer Mr kamal Deuja and other scouts’ teachers were present. Likewise, scout’s dresses and masks were handovers to the local coordinator and national trainer to distribute to the students.

Nepal scouts karnali province runs the anti-drug campaign in the province starting from 22 Asar 2079. Around 500 students from salyan and surkhet districts have an active participation on the first day. Community police have their corporation on this campaign regarding the legal issues. Our mission is to demotivate young students on drug abuse. As the drug addiction cases are increasing day by day in the province our campaign will be fruitful to reduce cases.

On the occasion of the foundation day of Nepal Scouts dated Asar 5th. Nepal Scouts karnali Province organized the investiture ceremony of the province patron and Chief Scouts. Honorable chief minister Jivan Bahadur Sahi made his commitment to support the scouting activities in the province. Likewise, honorable social development minister Yagya Bahadur BC Shares his optimistic views as line ministry toward scouting. National ad-hoc committee member Mr. Shiv Bahadur Bhandari lead the investiture ceremony and finally Province scouts coordinator Mr. Kamla Bohara greets his well-wishes for the ceremony and he Commits to strengthing the scout’s movement in the province. On the same day, the scouts’ volunteers were awarded for the contribution of their time and effort during the covid-19. pandemic .

Nepal scouts Karnali province. 22 February today on the occasion of thinking day/founder day various programs were organized. Almost all districts local level have actively celebrated the scout’s founder day. Debate on the scouting life, quiz contest, sanitation and cleanliness, peace rally, Plantation, etc were organized. We would like to congratulate all the scout’s master and local coordinators who organized and celebrate today’s occasion. Nepal scouts Karnali province is growing and movings ahead toward its mission. We are reaching every geographical region of the province. Plain area of surkhet , hilly area of dailekh , salyan to himalayan region in humla, Dolpa and Jumla.

Nepal scouts Karnali province has successfully completed the blood donation program on the occasion of the constitution day on the 3rd of Asoj with participants of the 30 peoples among which few were unqualified for the donation due to health issues. The collected blood is provided to Nepal Red Cross Society. Likewise, a peace rally was organized on the 5th of Asoj and started with National Anthem and scouts songs. The rally was started from the scout’s office followed by bus park area, market area, Birendra Chowk, clock towers, municipality, and finally end at the scout’s office. The rally was for an hour. We would like to thank a lot to Siddhapaila scouts crew and other volunteers for their participation during the events.
